Black and white is not really how I see the world. While I do understand the fact that monochrome is able to relay a message or story much easier, due to the removal of the biggest distraction in a photo – the colours – I tend to photograph and publish pretty and colourful things. I am trying to get better at storytelling but I am still unable to transmit a clear message with my photos.
Recently I found some new tools, Google Nik Collection, I have started to understand a bit better this category of photography. While I still lack some compositional skills, I feel that I am definitely getting better results each time. I even have a favourite look already! Enjoy these Swedish landscapes in monochrome!
