In July 2013 I had the luck of being hired to shoot one of the most original places that I have seen so far in Sweden, the Nostalgeek classic caffe and store. Built with the 50’s and later old american culture in mind, Nostalgeek is a place of meeting for the the local “raggare“, meaning people that are united by the same passion – old american cars and lifestyle.
The subculture is so special that even National Geographic has been here in Lidköping to film and photograph a raggare meeting.
